Project Description
The estate has been owned by the Chiucchiurlotto family for three generations now. Madrevite, which came about from a restructuring of the family business in 2001, covers some 20 hectares of land on the Podere Mastronuccio, a farming estate that was already prominent in 1650. The company is guided by its deep ties to the past and respect for tradition and the environment. These guidelines are evident in their wines.
The winery is a member of the Strada dei Vini Colli del Trasimeno wine association that promotes wine-tourism and produces wines from Sangiovese, Gamay del Trasimeno and Merlot grapes.
There is a shop on the premises where you can buy wine and other fine products, such as the fagiolina del Trasimeno. It received its Slow Food recognition for its uniform quality and ideal organoleptic properties, allowing it to bear the Slow Food seal of approval on its packaging. They offer free wine tasting and guided tours.
